World of Warcraft Upgrades and item upgrades Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. They also boost extra bonuses, such as PvE damage and crit chance.

For instance a weapon that has the upgrade template that ends in % will take on 3% attack damage every time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to give an additional stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades also have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment that has a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before the component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix changing the name of the equipment to which it is used (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level with normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of the weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades are available for purchase them in the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher tier version of an item will be dropped in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much they'll increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive, and it is possible that the item will be obsolete, or even break, in the event that the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also give a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs increase the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded a variety of ways, and we suggest getting them up to level 15 whenever you can.

In the endgame you'll often discover that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is to place Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes much faster.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

The use of Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes that are connected to it, and it is recommended to position your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. For instance an Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage points, but you should also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The Best item upgrade upgrading system allows players to increase the effectiveness of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each level requires a different amount of components to be reached, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets upgraded.

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each Upgrade Recipe completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used for upgrading an item. Once enough points are earned you will be able to claim the upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. This means that the same armor piece will become the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This could be a drawback in that the item could become more expensive even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll item upgrades. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, but it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it could waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player is repeatedly in or leaves the water. This item can be upgraded many times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is very important in PvP. A well-rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of its unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

Best item upgrade upgrading allows players to increase the quality of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by providing the appropriate currency and items to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense base of that piece, while upgrading weapons will increase the damage base as well as the required strength and dexterity to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear which can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Each each time you upgrade an item it has a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the farther you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will result in the item reverting to its initial state which means that the player has to purchase more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it has gained, such as crit chance attack damage, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time, or the speed of reloading). The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined by its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to the value of the base item. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with an incredibly lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items could require different upgrades than regular gear. For example they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. However, players will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each upgrade will require the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
