WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

The account-wide discount is only applicable when all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
