She also thought the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is particularly true when a large changing bag hangs from it.

Unlike other lightweight travel buggies, this doesn't skimp on features and is one of the most feature-packed double strollers available. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately), features various recline positions, and has an UV 50+ canopy. You can even add an additional bassinet to one or both seats and transform it into a travel system.

The four wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain however they're not made for off-roading. They slid on gravel and long grass and there's not much clearance between the bracket and the wheel, so mud got stuck easily. However, our tester still loved riding this buggy, and it did manage to climb some pretty muddy hills.

It's a heavier tandem buggy but it's incredibly easy to operate and steer, particularly on smooth pavements. It feels stable in both double and single mode and even on sloped ground. It is not as easy to use on public transport since it requires two hands to hold the handlebar. It is also bulky and will not fit into a standard car boot without the seat in place, but this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy have included a footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters included in the price so this is an excellent value for parents who are new.

This is an ultra-lightweight tandem stroller. It has two non-reversible seats which are perfect for infants to around 3 years old. Additionally, it can fit a car seat in the rear seat.

It features an easy-to use folding mechanism that makes it easy for storage and travel. It also comes with a large basket that is ideal to store everything your baby's and toddler's essentials.

The Joie Evalite Duo is a great double buggy for beginners because it is a great value for money and is easy to steer. It is also extremely light, making it easy to push across long distances. It has a high quality suspension system that provides a smooth ride, for both children and parents.

This fashionable and practical city stroller is suitable for twins or a toddler with one or two children with the addition of UPPAbaby's"PiggyBack" board (sold separately). Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on bumpy terrain or when turning on the middle of a busy road. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently. This means they can be adjusted to fit individual needs - ideal for napping.

They also loved that the hoods were able to be moved forward and back and back, making them much easier to adjust in the sun or for wind protection. Our testers did discover, however, that they didn't offer an enormous amount of coverage compared to similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods which is why it's worthwhile to pack a rain cover just in case.

Overall, our testers loved the way that the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods to rushing to the park for a quick playdate. The testers were also impressed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There is plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use a car seats on this buggy were both noted as a drawback by our test participants. They would have also liked to see a larger storage area for shopping and other gear.
