Self-emptying bases make robot vacuums worth the cost, particularly for those with large homes. This means that you don't have to empty the bin more than once every time you run. It makes your floors more clean and it will run more often.

Its Lidar navigation does a great job of mapping, and you can use the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. But it wasn't able to avoid obstacles like furniture legs, as well as the j7 or Q Revo.

1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. Like other iRobot robots The J7 Plus is easy to set up and use. It's also easy to maintain. The dust bin and water tank are both removable, so they're simple to clean. And the iRobot app lets you watch videos on how to maintain various parts of the machine, including replacing the mopping pads and cleaning the dust bin.

The only issue is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if it has mopping pads and the 210 ml water tank is filled. If one of these is not present, it simply vacuums. You can easily monitor the tank's water level via the iRobot app, and if it gets low, you'll get an alert to refill it.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is an affordable robot that does a fantastic job at mopping and vacuuming. The mopping performance, particularly considering the price, is impressive. It is effective on carpets and hard floors cleaning up large and small pieces of debris (think hair tangles, or cat litter). It also does an excellent job cleaning dried spills and messes. The mopping system uses rotating pads to scrub your floors and get rid of dirt and grime even from stuck-on areas. Its performance in vacuuming is top-quality, too. It has powerful suction and a high-efficiency filter that captures small to large particles easily. The only downside is that it does not perform as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power, 10 percent of pet hair remained on the test surface. This isn't unheard of.

The Q Revo is a fantastic product that is able to provide excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. It also has great cleaning and mopping capabilities. It's not as effective as the more expensive robotic vacuum cleaner and mop however it's a great choice for anyone with a limited budget. Additionally, it can charge up to 30% faster than previous versions and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This is a lot more convenience at a low price. 3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum mop robot that operates well and comes with amazing features for a reasonable price. Setup is a breeze and only took about five minutes. After removal of the tape used for manufacturing and the protective plastic and a quick scan of the QR code in the app starts you off. The app is easy to use and guides you through each step. Once configured, you can start mapping and cleaning.

The app allows you to modify your home's layout and create maps that the robot will follow. The app lets you divide rooms into smaller sections to allow them to be targeted more precisely. For instance, you can create a map for the kitchen, and another one for the living area, allowing the robot to vacuum the floors in each room at different times.

The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots I've tried. It has an industrial look. Its base station is more modular than others and has the water-draining tank and auto-empty feature on one side and the vacuum on the other. The reusable mop pads are also distinct. They fit into the top of the robot and are connected to a handle in the front, making it easy to remove and refill.

The vacuum is as efficient as any other robot I've tested and comes with two brushes to the single brush in the majority of models. This expands the vacuum's coverage area and reduces the likelihood of debris being lost behind walls and furniture. However, it does have some issues with object detection and a tendency to run at full speed through objects, like a tassel rug in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is a capable robot mop that does its job well and keeps your hard floors looking good regularly. It's not able to vacuum like other hybrids, and it is unable to transfer from hard floors to rugs or carpets. However, due to its long battery life and intelligent mopping features, this robot is a great choice for small and medium-sized homes.

It works in dry sweeping mode as well it can clean up to 1,000 square feet at one charge. It's also able to map your floor plan using the iRobot app and can clean rooms in sequence with compatible Roomba vacuums.

In wet mopping, the m6 employs precise sprays to dilut the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to watch, and it was able to take on even the toughest dried-in coffee and juice stains on my floors. It is possible to set it up to use less water or greater than the maximum amount specified by the app.

The iRobot application is among the best available and allows you to sync with your home wi-fi easy. It's packed with user-friendly features such as scheduling, room partitioning and creating no-go zones that give you complete control over the machine. It also allows you to determine how much battery power remains to give you an accurate estimate of how long it's left before having to be docked and recharged. 5. Shark RV2610WA

The price of robotic vacuum and mop cleaners is an issue. They are convenient, but they can also be expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA Self-Empty base, which we've reviewed here is priced at $699 or PS559 or AU$1,054. If you don't want the charging base, it'll cost $549/PS395 or approximately AU$675.

The Shark RV2610WA is a great option for those who require a robot that is able to tackle both vacuuming and mopping. It uses sonic mopping to scrub floors at a rate of 100 times per minute, and it's capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains with its stain-lifting system. The app lets you program the machine to clean at a certain time and day. It also has a smart feature which allows you to control your robot while you're away.

As far as vacuuming is concerned, the Shark performs well and can remove most debris, however, it's not as effective on carpets. It's not difficult for pet hair to get stuck in the brushroll, and its dirt container will quickly fill up. It also has a variety of components that require regular maintenance and replacement, which could result in recurring costs over time.

For the money There are better choices on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus, for example, offers much better performance on both bare floors and high-pile carpets. It is more durable, has an extra-large dustbin and can move over obstacles like electrical cords easily. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's worth the extra cost if you require a cleaner that can handle both tasks with ease.
